Experience: Graduated from U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Engineering. Completed 2 sea tours as a Surface Warfare Officer as an engineering officer onboard a 1200# steam turbine, twin screw, guided missile destroyer and the Anti-Air Warfare Officer on a new AEGIS cruiser. Resigned commission and spent 10 years in technical sales, primarily in the rubber and plastics industry. Then began my recruiting career as an Account Executive with a franchise office of Management Recruiters International in early 2000. Immediately focused on sales and technical positions or positions within technology-driven companies. In the first 12 months of recruiting, had generated placement fees exceeding the requirements for the MRI “Pacesetter” program, recognizing the top recruiters of the organization, including 5000+ recruiters in North America, and 8,000 world-wide. Listed in the top-20 monthly performers nationwide for several months during rookie year.

Was recognized by EmploymentCrossing.com as one of the most influential recruiting agencies for 2013, ranking #15 in Engineering and #60 in the Energy categories nationwide in evaluating over 6000 recruiters across the country. Also in 2013, was selected to Columbus Business First’s “Who’s Who in Energy for 2013-2014”
Recruiting Philosophy: I believe establishing long-term client relationships works better for both the client and the recruiter. By learning the actual needs of the client, and not trying to recruit from a generic job description, we are able to present better-suited candidates for the position and the company. We don’t try to control our clients or candidates. Instead, we provide the relevant information with which they are able to make an informed decision, and then we help both clients and candidates by facilitating the hiring process.
People I Recruit: I enjoy recruiting for candidates whom have worked to distinguish themselves professionally, whether through education, experience, leadership, or a combination that has led to significant contributions to their employer or industry.
